Evil Men Understand Not

Proverbs 28:5: Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

Seeking the Lord provides men with the simplest, the best and the most important understanding they can get. Evil men are those that do not seek the Lord. Not seeking the Lord is evil, especially not seeking Him when He makes Himself available, when He comes within reach.

Isaiah 55:6: Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Jeremiah 29:13: And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Seeking Him half-heartedly is not seeking Him at all. Seeking Him and receiving Him are inseparable.

Colossians 2:6: As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

Seeking Him, receiving Him and walking in Him SHOULD BE inseparable. Seeking Him is seeking His wisdom, receiving Him is receiving His wisdom and walking in Him is walking in His wisdom.

Proverbs 9:10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

When we whole-heartedly seek the Lord, He provides all the wisdom, knowledge and understanding we need. He spells it all out for us in the Bible. If we continually seek the Lord we will continually study His word, the Bible and continually have His wisdom, knowledge and understanding. If we study the Bible occasionally, we will only have His wisdom, knowledge and understanding occasionally. No matter how much they read it, the evil men who never seek the Lord will never find the wisdom, knowledge and understanding that the Bible can give to the seekers of the Lord.

Evil men and non-seekers also stay away from Biblical churches where the Lord*s wisdom, knowledge and understanding are found in abundance.

Ephesians 4:11-12: And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Proverbs 10:13: In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.

Proverbs 11:12: He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.

Proverbs 15:21: Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.
